A Purdue University student looking for opportunities in communication, public relations and marketing.

I am currently a junior in Communication at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN with a 3.72 GPA and involvement in multiple student groups on campus. My courses at Purdue have included studying fundamental communications skills and gaining extensive experience in communication-based writing, public speaking, video editing with Adobe software and much more. As a Community Coordination Manager/Lead in the Purdue Overwatch Club and the Purdue University Gamer’s Group, I have gained experience with community management, digital media creation, event planning and conflict resolution/negotiation.

Additionally, I have been employed by Dick’s Sporting Goods for over one year as an Associate, recently being promoted to Customer Service Specialist (CSS). I have consistently held this position year-round at multiple locations. In this position, I have gained experience with leadership responsibilities, task management, practiced additional conflict management, and worked extensively to maintain the stores I have worked in as efficiently as possible.

Before college, I was also heavily involved in student activities as a high schooler. I participated all four years in choir/music programs along with theater. As a drama student, I had multiple lead roles in plays and musicals. I consider this one of my first forays into communicating clearly and meaningfully with others. I polished my skills as a verbal communicator, helped to lead a team of students in successful productions as an Assistant Director, and developed the flexibility and dedication needed to execute a successful performance.
